Maghai and Jagannath are the main paans of Benaras whereas paan prepared from small and fragile leaves from South India is known as chigrlayele. For this recipe you can use Kalkatta pan or Benerasi paan like Maghai. The leaves are soft and sweet ideal to make the recipe. In your food processor take betel leaves. Elachi, fennel seed and rose water. Blen till smooth then add vanilla ice cream. Blend again. You may strain or just pour in a shot glasses and chill it for 30 minutes. Serve chilled garnishing with colorful pepper mint balls,chopped glazed cherry, saffron .
