Egg in prawn curry may sound little unusual but it’s one of its kind. The rich flavorful curry is the main twist and if you want to experiment this is a must try.
Preparation time : 15 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes Serves : 4 Ingredients 4 boiled eggs 8 tp 10 shrimp curry 1 onion sliced 1 tbsp tomato paste 4 green chilly (optional) 3 garlic clove ½ tsp grated ginger ½ tsp red chilly powder ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp kashmiri red chilly powder 2 pinch of sugar (optional) 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp melted butter 2 pinch garam masala Salt to tasteHeat 2 tbsp oil in a pan then add the shrimp. Let it fry till brown then add onion, ginger , and garlic. Fry a little . Take the fried shrimp and onion garlic and ginger in the blender and make a fine paste. Now heat the shrimp flavored infused oil that is on the pan. Add the shrimp paste and then add tomato paste, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, kashmiri red chilly powder, sugar and salt. Stir and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Once the masala is well cooked add ½ cup warm water. Let it come to boil. Then add the boiled eggs either whole or you can cut them into halves and then add with whole green chillies. When garvy thicken add melted butter and pinch of garam masala. (Make sure in this recipe the prominent flavor will be of shrimps and all the other masalas is just to enhance the taste).Put off the flame and cover and give 6 to 8 minutes standing time before serving . Serve with hot rice,pulao, roti,chappatis, paratha or naan.
