Crispy Potato Heart

Valentine’s day is knowcking at the doorstep and days back I was just lucky to find a heart shaped potatoes in our veggie basket. I am completely surprised to see nature’s beautiful craft. I was thinking what to do so that I can do proper justice to the shape and then suddenly the idea to make a delicious Valentine finger food came up and the result is this crispy potato heart. If you can’t curve heart shape potatoes then go with the regular round shape and enjoy this awesome recipe. Today I am taking crispy potato heart to our event Potluck Party Cyber Style. Hope my friends will enjoy this too.

Preparation time :  10 minutes
Cooking time  : 15 minutes 
Serves  :   4 to 5 

Ingredients  : 
3  big potatoes  sliced in little thick pieces  
½  tsp turmeric powder 
½   tsp  red chilly powder
 ½  tsp  chat masala 
few  almonds ( dry roasted) 
1 onion thinly sliced 
 few small  seed less cubes tomatoes 
 few fresh coriander leaves
Oil for frying
 salt to taste
Tomato sauce or red tamarind chutney

Methods of Cooking 
Take potato slices marinate it with salt turmeric and red chilly powder. Now heat oil in a pan. Fry the potato slices till golden and crisp. Now take them in a kitchen paper to drain the excess oil. Arrange them in a serving plate. Place sliced onion, tomato and dry roasted almond and fresh leaves of coriander. Sprinkle chat masala on each and top it with a drop of tamarind chutney or tomato sauce. Enjoy it with your favorite mocktail or tea or coffee.

Paneer posto is a delicious creamy dish. Posto in Bengali means paste of poppy seeds which is cooked with veggies , fish and even chicken or just taken raw with mustard oil and hot steamed rice. Today I used that concept of Bengali posto but to it add some ingredients to give it a royal touch. The dish looks very rich but it is not that heavy and not loaded with too much of calories but a simple fast to cook easy delicious dish. The best part of it is poppy seed paste is good to give you a happy sleep so if you have it for dinner a good sleep is ensured. So be happy cook and have fun . I am sure you all will love it.
