Candied Bananas

Today I am taking a very delicious recipe to our most favorite Potluck Party Cyber Style and that is candied banana. This is from my friend Nandooskitchen . Thanks for sharing a very tempting yummy quick dessert recipe which I think not only kids but grown ups too will enjoy. The one change that I make to her recipe is that I didn't use food color instead I use pome pearls to make it attractive. Hope you will like this variation of candied banana too.

Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time 10 minutes
Serves 2

Ingredients
1 banana
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
4 to 5 drops vanilla essence
a pinch food color (optional)
Hand full of pomegranate pearls

Methods of Cooking

Take the banana and make small pieces. In a pan add sugar and water and allow it to boil. Let the sugar melt. Then strain it through muslin cloth. Into the pan add banana pieces and the sugar water mixture and allow it to boil (keep the gas in sim). Add vanilla essence and food color( if using) to it. Allow the liquid to change into a syrup consistency. Shift the bananas into a bowl and pour the remaining syrup on top of that.As I didn't use food color so to make the dish bright I use pome pearls garnish. Hope not only the kids but all will enjoy this lovely sweet and simple candied banana.

Sending this to my friend Jagruti's event Potluck Party Cyber Style
