A very delicious and yummy traditional sweet of Punjab is Pinni.Pinni are of various type with the variation of ingredients like besan pinni made from besan or gram flour, atta pinni made from atta, badam pinni made from nut paste. This pinni comes in various shapes like square, oval and round. I am sharing a delicious and the most easy way to make this Punjabi pinni.Pinni are winter favorite sweet.

Procedure:
Take aheavy buttom pan and heat ghee. Add wheat flour and besan for 4to 5 minutes then add the dal paste instead of urad dal you can use moong dal also.Then go on stirring continuously for half hour in slow flame.Then add the mawa and go on stirring for another 10 minutes when the mixture turn a bit dry then add the chopped dry fruits. Mix well spread it in a greased tray. Then let it cool. Cut into equal size square pieces.You can garnish this pinnis with fried cashew or almond. your delicious Punjabi Pinni is ready to serve.
